Our helpful, caring and creative volunteers help to extend our mission and passion for cats by providing the highest quality of care, education, and support for our feline friends.
If you are looking to make a difference and your heart is melted by kitten purrs, then you’ve come to the right place. Utilize your talents to help our cats and kittens through fostering, driving for transports, creative writing, social media marketing, and more. Short-term FostersHelp foster for a few hours up to a few weeks covering the much needed shorter gaps that help with strategic intakes, transfers to specialty fosters, medical transitions, etc.
Long-term FostersHelp foster from 4 weeks up to 4 months helping provide general care and socialization for nursing moms, single kittens and small litters.
(Typical foster type).
Specialty FostersHelp foster neonatal and special needs cats and kittens. Foster and care for bottle and tube fed kittens and or foster cats/kittens with specialized medical situations. Foster length varies per situation.
DriversBecome a driver for a TNR transport or help drive cats and kittens to vet appointments and foster transfers. One timers and recurring drivers needed!

TNR advocatesHelp with all things Trap-Neuter-Return! Providing education and helping members of the community with trapping are our two biggest needs!
content creatersHelp generate creative content that is fun and exciting, helps to provide impactful education, and expands our reach within our community and online through creative writing, web design, and social media content.
Event supportDrive ideas for cat events within the community and online, help with event promotion and driving attendance, and provide education and support for event attendees.
cat cafe supportPFK is a proud partner of Coastal Cat Cafe in Pensacola, FL. The catfe aims to provide a unique experience for patrons and is a creative channel for our cats to find their forever home. Volunteer at the catfe and provide basic cat care, socalization and clean up.
internshipsIf you are passionate about cats and not-for-profit organizations, join our quarterly internship program. Work with a fun, supportive, and creative team to learn and gain relevant work experience while learning about cats!
